Finished Film Screenshots

With the start of the new year, I'm happy to update this blog with Olive news. I finished my film in time for the SCAD graduation showcase, and it was chosen for the show! We were also fortunate enough to have been included in the SCADAnimate! show in October, where the polished, final version that I finished over the summer. Now that 2013 has begun, and I have earned some extra pocket money from my new fancy pants animation job, I have submitted the film to a few festivals around the world.  Below are a few screencaps of the film. Stay tuned to see which festivals Olive is chosen for, and thank you for your support, everyone!

3D World Magazine!

Good news!
A shot of Olive is in this month's edition of 3D World Magazine. Sadly, they did not include the name of the film, my name, or Bridget (who was working on it at the moment), but it's still something to be proud of!

Composite

I'm pleased to show a test composite of Olive! It's just one frame of Olive, I haven't cleaned and colored the rest of them yet, but I was just anxious to get a composite of how she would look with the multiplane and shadows.

Senior Soiree

Hello, all!
I'd like to everyone who stopped by my booth at the Senior Soiree! It was a pleasure meeting so many enthusiastic people!  This was my booth, and I ended up moving to join Jake and Frenchy. I showed off the newly painted sculpture of Olive!

The Olive team is currently fixing up animation and doing background paintings this quarter. I will be working on the clean-up pipeline very shortly, and I will notify those who expressed interest in clean-up and color.
Until then, feel free to say hello when you see me around Montgomery, and I'll be happy to show you what I'm working on.
